The night(mare) before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Everyone was home working – with zoom and a mouse!
The jacket and tie hung on the back of the chair
To be ready for zooms when clients are there
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
The online lessons all lost from their heads

With mom and her Clorox, and a computer in my lap
Our minds sooo ready for a long winter’s nap!

When out on the street there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the sofa to see what was the matter.

As I stared through the snow, fear came in a flash,
Even in a pandemic FINRA still wants its cash!

My concerns were confirmed by what I saw appear,
A miniature squad car, and eight tiny reindeer,

With a red uniformed driver, so lively and quick,
I thought for a moment we were going to the ‘Nick’.

More rapid than a Tesla his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
“Now, email! now, social media, now texts and google docs

You forgot about compliant archiving while filling up socks!

He spoke not a word but with a change in demeanor,
He filled all the stocking with archiving solutions from Patrina
He used some sanitizer then sprang to his car
And away they all flew but they didn’t get far
I heard him exclaim, though he’d finished his task,
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all – wear a mask!
